We visited Varanasi with Pintu, and it was a fantastic and incredibly productive day. He showed us the city from a spiritual perspective, which we really enjoyed. He knows a great deal about its history, and it’s clear he loves his city. He showed us temples, explaining everything in detail. We went to a local restaurant where the food was excellent—it wasn’t tourist food. We went to see the Aarti ceremony from a truly privileged spot, and he showed us the local street food.
