I traveled to India in August to volunteer and practice yoga and meditation, as well as to explore the country and learn about its culture and people. I contacted Pintu, who put me in touch with the Sunshine Education Society, an NGO working with children in the slums of Varanasi. I spent my afternoons teaching the children, and it was an incredible experience that touched my heart! Pintu also took me to the International Vedanta Society Ashram, where I celebrated [something – likely a specific event or event].
