We were in Varanasi for two days and we were really lucky to find Pintu, who showed us around the narrow streets. It was during the festival and everything was chaotic, but he did his best to make sure we had a good time and even spoke to us in Spanish, since our English is very, very basic, practically nonexistent, haha.
